Pork chops recipe7/1/2023 ![]() ![]() We will add 1 tbs olive oil for each chop in the baking dish. In this case, we usually recommend adding some liquid to make sure the chops don’t dry out. To reheat, you can use the microwave or cook on a low heat in the oven. How to reheat? Place cooked pork chops and place in a Ziploc bag or air-tight container. At this point you’ll want to coat it with the breadcrumb mixture you make in the recipe. Should you wish for a thicker crust, you’ll want to dredge the chops in flour then dip it in a bowl containing one whisked egg with milk. You’ll notice that these pork chops have a light crumb and Parmesan coating. Resting allows the center to finish cooking to a perfect 145☏ as well as distribute all the moisture evenly through the chop. Then, let them rest before cutting into them. They should reach an internal temperature of 135☏ before you remove them from the oven. Use a meat thermometer to test the chops. One way to avoid overcooking is to allow the pork chops to come to room temperature before cooking them. Doing so causes all the moisture to cook right out and leave behind dry tough chops. Be careful that you do not overcook the pork chops. Doing so causes any moisture to get trapped and then the crispy bread crumb crust will get soggy. Don’t cover the pan when they’re in the oven. ![]() (Be sure that you spray both sides of the chop with cooking spray before you place it in the air fryer basket.) For bone in and/or thicker pork chops, increase the cook time. For a boneless chop, approximately ¾ inch thick, you will want to cook them at 380☏ for 4-5 minutes.įlip and cook for another 4-5 minutes. The temperature and length of time that the pork chop will need to cook will depend on the thickness and if it is boneless.
